Abstract:
Introduction. Gradually undergraduate and postgraduate studies are being taught by distance/online methodology. At the same time, the importance of new technologies and the use of digital didactic platforms in the on-site educational offer, especially those related to free software, are being studied. On the other hand, within the philosophy that underpins methodology linked to the European Space of Higher Education (ESHE), it is essential to have limited transfer of information transcending the traditional limits of a classroom, a department or a specific university. Objective. To provide specific patterns for the implementation and empowerment of 2.0 tools within the teaching activity of a university department by means of the creation of digital material and resources that favour both horizontal and vertical pedagogic coordination. Development. We are introducing a concrete project, born for a university department describing the protocol of creating digital resources along with essential considerations when being managed. Results. We structured a master file designed with different digital tools: 1) creation and promotion of curricular content; 2) carrying out of concept maps; 3) writing of contextualised resources (synchronously and diachronically); 4) effective exposures; 5) cognitive empowerment of the student by means of tools enhancing auditory memory and visual memory; 6) collaborative work or group work; 7) dissemination of resources and creation of a blog or a web site. Conclusions. The implementation of 2.0 methodologies from a university department by means of the concretion here described encourages the teaching-learning objective, with clear benefits for university students both in the acquisition of contents as well as the training in digital competences. On the other hand, it sets up a privileged track for truly modern university management by means of the dissemination of resources and knowledge in an interdepartmental and inter-university manner.
