This leads to the need of exploring how students are using web classroom application in their learning processes.

This was conducted through an exploratory research that involved the collection of information through a qualitative instrument constructed from the information needs identified in the theoretical framework. The applied instrument was a semi-structured survey to undergraduate students.

Among the results, it was observed that the use of web classroom application improves the creative and collaborative abilities through a greater access to information in asynchronously way. Furthermore, there is a better interaction between students, through the various tools available. On the other hand, there is a greater preference for free and Spanish language applications.
