THE USE OF ELECTRONIC EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES AT THE INITIAL STAGE OF TEACHING RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract:
During the recent years the number of people who want to study Russian not only in place they live but also in Russia has being increased. The number of foreign students in Russian Institutions of Higher education has also increased and sometimes traditional means of teaching are not enough. That is why in modern Institutions of Higher Education informational technologies are widely used, fore and foremost original electronic educational resources on different subjects which make the process of getting knowledge and revision of the material easier.
The article is aimed at showing the need of electronic educational resources use in the process of foreign students teaching at the preparatory faculty of Russian Institution of Higher Education, and to characterize the features of electronic educational resources on Russian as a foreign language on the elementary level.
The article presents description of the experience of creation of the electronic educational resource named “Russian language as foreign. Practical phonetics course” for teaching the Cyrillic writing techniques to foreign listeners and the resource «Lexico-grammatical tests on Russian as foreign of elementary level» for Russian grammar revision, improving and control acquired skills. Given electronic resources were created in the Department of human sciences of the preparatory faculty for foreign students of the Kazan (Volga region) Federal University.
During the research the authors come to the conclusion that use of created electronic resources increases the effectiveness of educational activity. The advantage of electronic educational resource is that one can use them as learning material not only during the classes, but for a self-study as well, and as a means of control.
According to the authors’ opinion, applying to such electronic educational resources, including continuously updated information, is useful especially at the initial stage of learning of foreign language, Russian in particular, because basic knowledge about the language are formed during this stage, on which the effectiveness of learning it depends.
