Abstract:
The continuation of ICT implementation in a school is greatly reliant on foreseeable policy, committed planning, and the quality of reliable and secure infrastructure present. To have a sustainable and effective use of computer and technology, employees’ best practice is also one of the key elements to uplift and prolong the school management quality and performance. This ongoing research examines an in depth of ICT infrastructure in a Laotian vocational school. The services between the school and the external providers in particular the degree to which the school is engaging will be examined. The research will investigate any funding issues, ICT technical support, maintenance and obsolescence, existing technology facility, and the current and future strategy in enhancing the quality of ICT and its system. Moreover, the school principal, teachers, students, administrators and ICT technicians will be observed, surveyed and interviewed in relation to the availability, usability, accessibility and authenticity of computer and technology supports. This research aims to evaluate and raise the awareness and importance of effective, sufficient, proactive strategies and recommendations in enhancing employees’ best practice, concreteness, sustainability, and security of ICT infrastructure to this vocational school.
