Abstract:
This research aims to design, develop, and evaluate an innovative device aimed at reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in aviation, through an educational approach. The initiative aims to integrate environmental awareness and sustainable technology into the high school students' curriculum, using the device as a practical case to promote interest and understanding of technological solutions in mitigating and reducing environmental impact.

The device's function is to transform the heat energy of the aircraft engine and turn it 100% electric during the flight, all this through the use of several heat sensors and several servomotors, this device will help us reduce CO2 emissions up to 70%. It was planned to generate an environmental culture from an early age for the following generations.

The methodology principally focuses on carrying out workshops with high school students, designed to raise awareness among participants about the importance of technological innovation in the sustainability of aviation. Through this workshop, students can explore the technical, electrical, and operational characteristics and environmental impact of the proposed device. This educational experience is complemented by hands-on activities and discussions that allow students to analyze the device's potential to improve fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions.

The workshop is proved to be an effective tool to increase environmental awareness and interest in sustainable technology among students. The evaluation of the device, within the educational context, revealed significant potential to reduce CO2 emissions in aviation, validating the technical feasibility and environmental benefit of the proposal. Also, the interactive and participatory approach of the workshop motivated students to think critically about the role of engineering and technology in addressing current environmental challenges.
