Abstract:

Online education (e-learning, remote education) means education through computer techniques and the Internet. It is becoming more and more popular. It can support the traditional teaching process (blended learning), but it can also enable students to complete a training course or even a university without the need for physical attendance. There are many forms of teaching such as online courses, educational platforms, blogs, forums etc. Some as online tutoring provides the possibility to work individually with a teacher in real time so the learner is able to explain all doubts on a current basis. Other e.g. online courses requires self-denial and self-exploration of solutions unexplained in the recorded material.

The author conducts classes in the field of computer programs used in architecture, such as AutoCAD, ARCHICAD, Sketchup, Artlantis. She conducts courses for groups of students as part of their studies at universities. She has prepared an online course of support for two programs as well. She has also written a book for self-study of ARCHICAD. She uses all of these experiences to conduct remote tutoring.

At work she encountered different students with different motivations and goals both high school and university students, but also working adults. These are both, people who started learning from scratch, as well as those with already acquired skills. Learners are people of different ages and motivations. Through the willingness to prepare for their dreamed-of studies, the willingness to complete a course of study or to complete an additional education in order to improve their work, ending with the willingness to change their lives through change of the industry.

This article will discuss authors' personal experiences related to online classes.It will present both the technical aspects of conducting classes in this form, the problems, as well as the pros and cons of this solution.
