Abstract:

Recently, the question has been laid: "How does one approach the development of the basic competencies of a military professional and a leader in the field of psychophysical condition?" The issue's relevance confirmed the absence of a methodological framework for developing the psychophysical condition of military professionals or leadership doctrine at the Ministry of Defence.

Based on the issue described above, an innovative training program for the development of students' psychophysical condition was created, which was described in last year’s conference, and will be shortly reminded. The program contains two phases. These two phases are divided into maintenance and construction. Said program was offered to students of a military program from different years of study. Two hundred fifty students at the University of Defence have already undergone this program, and new probands are participating daily.

Students underwent both phases, after which a discussion was conducted immediately, and all the participants who had previously attended the research were given space to express their opinion on the meter. After the debate, a short questionnaire was given to the participants; in the questionnaire, they could comment on the used methods. The probands expressed their feelings and knowledge from the experience.

The results from the questionnaire showed various views on the subject, in majority positive. Most participants found the research greatly beneficial for their professional and even private life. In the questionnaire, they commented on individual techniques, what was easy and complicated in specific parts of the performed procedures, and they also commented on the usability of used methods.

The opinion of the participants and the results indicate the usability of the ongoing research and connected methods, techniques, and procedures. Participants showed unusual interest in the discussed topic and related issues.
