Abstract:
The research presents an implementation of quality information technology (QIT) model for community services for Faculty of Information Technology, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, Thailand.

The QIT model applied the principles of QIT and DMAIC quality methodology. The software developed consists of five modules: knowledge identification, knowledge creation and acquisition, knowledge organization, knowledge codification and refinement, and knowledge sharing module.

The result of acceptance test of software by the stakeholder responsible for the community service at the Faculty of Information Technology showed the success of an implementation of this model which the university will use the software for the community service in Phetchaburi province. Furthermore its usage can be extended beyond the scope of one province into nationwide. An innovation of this model that make it different from the other related model was in term of a built-in quality design of all steps-in knowledge management cycle that reflect the quality of service to be delivered.
