Abstract:
This presentation treats about the inclusion of ICT in secondary education. This research is related to the topic: "Technology in Education", specifically to the e-portfolio. In particularly, this study is a review about the practical application of electronic portfolio as a learning methodology in Secondary School. It performed a literature review of scientific articles, in Spanish and English languages, published from 2004 (emergence of the term Web 2.0) to the present, that explain educational experiences of using electronic portfolios in Secondary Education. To this end, it has been used impact journals, whose primary area of study is education and educational innovation. It gives an overview about the use of electronic portfolio in educational practice, the current state, characteristics of this methodology and the tools used to carry it out. In this investigation, it use qualitative methodology based on systematic review of the literature. It analyzed 34 articles in Spanish and 111 investigations in English that after making a selection according to specific criteria, give a final sample composed of a total of 26 studies (17 in Spanish and 9 in English). The review shows like a result, the use of portfolios in secondary education as a strategy for assessment, reflection and student independent learning. Finally, to the end of research, it used the results of this study to design proposal to electronic portfolio more used in Secondary School.
