Abstract:
The project aims to create an eco-chemical model and laboratory for university, postgraduate professional and continuing education for the preservation of written cultural heritage. It is based on the existing global tendencies in the creation of a modern new, ecological model for managing the processes of “preservation and conservation of the written cultural heritage in Bulgaria”, in the conditions of deepening the processes of globalization, which for countries like ours are connected with the manifestation of a series of adverse processes and changes. These trends, triggered by globalization, are widespread in our country, without the appropriate maturity of public relations and institutions, without a suitable socio-economic climate, and without specialists trained to participate in the new conditions. There is a growing awareness of the poor state of lifelong learning in our country, reflecting the lack of attention to assessment and monitoring of standards in this regard, as well as the lack of capacity of high-level professionals for training in diverse and dynamic sociocultural environment, in the limited time spent on education in the field of written cultural heritage, in the absence of broad-ranging and balanced educational and cultural programs and other unconventional and alternative forms of education. The significance of the problem is related to ensuring that future generations can read the texts and adopt the knowledge preserved today, on the basis of which they can create new knowledge that will enrich the cultural heritage of humanity. Thus, the endless cycle of perception, creation, recording, preservation and transmission of knowledge will continue to enrich society and serve the progress of civilization. Creating a new eco-chemical model is also driven by the neglect of documentary heritage training in many libraries, archives and museums. The aim of the scientific project is to study and analyze the Bulgarian and foreign experience in the field of documentary cultural heritage preservation and construction of a new information model directly applicable in Bulgaria, related to the life cycle of the processes in science, education, social sphere, business, which will create favorable conditions for the development of cultural institutions preserving written cultural heritage. The application of modern environmental methods for conservation, prevention and long-term preservation will accelerate the processes of identification, creation of an electronic database, digitalization, socialization and presentation of stored documentary cultural values in the common European space, in the context of their integration in the modern globalizing world. The results of the project implementation will be directly applicable in culture, education, social and environmental practices through the dissemination and transfer of knowledge. A completely new approach to teaching will be applied. The society will be sensitive to the problem of the endangerment of the Bulgarian written heritage. The results of the project will be key and aimed at creating a national strategy for preserving the Bulgarian memory. Keywords:
