Abstract:
This paper shows the results of the development and realization of an experiential learning activity (ELA) based on the use of educational robots (Arduino-based DOBOT) to achieve the teaching-learning process in an effective and fun way. This activity is part of the set of activities developed by the work team for robotics and automation training, within the training activities for a cycle of industrial maintenance in vocational training. On this occasion, we pursue to learn the concepts of tolerance in the layout, as well as the positioning through the use of laser engraving that allows the robot.

In this document, we show the tasks performed, as well as the planning carried out, and the results of the training carried out, valued by the students and how, compared to traditional teaching, the motivation for learning increases.

Additionally, it is verified how through the use of this ELA it is possible to work on transversal skills such as teamwork and the use of specific instruments and understanding and integration.
