Abstract:
Introduction
Today, universities and faculties have to be prepared for carrying out all educational activities on-line, i.e. it is necessary to use various distance forms of teaching and learning in daily practice. Nowadays, the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University in Bratislava uses: assessment of knowledge by the e-learning platform LMS Moodle and MS Forms, video conference system MS Teams and its alternative Zoom for lectures and seminars, program OpenShot allowing elaboration of teaching videos and commented Power Point presentations. There is an opportunity to use a full implementation of the e-learning application from Microsoft - Office 365.
All these electronic didactic aids help us to increase efficiency of teaching and learning and to manage current complicated situation.

Methodology
In our everyday practice are used following platforms:
1. Microsoft Teams - a unified communication and collaboration platform that combines persistent workplace chat, video meetings, distance testing and examination, file storage (including collaboration on files), and application integration. It is permanently used in distance teaching. On-line meetings were realised with both Slovak and foreign students (on-line lectures, practical teaching and exams). System allows to communicate simultaneously with more than 40 students.
2. Platform Moodle – free of charge open source Learning Management System (LMS). Moodle, a software package for creating e-learning systems and electronic courses on-line. Developed on pedagogical principles, Moodle is used for blended learning, distance education, testing, flipped classroom and other e-learning projects in schools, universities, workplaces and other sectors. It is used for continuous knowledge testing, including final exam test.
3. OpenShot Video Editor – open-source video editor, available on Linux, Mac, and Windows. Using OpenShot stunning videos, films, and animations with an easy-to-use interface and rich set of features were created.

Results
In the previous period the teaching, knowledge assessment and contact with students and teachers was realised in the MS Teams and MS Moodle. A collection of video records (procedures of measurements and their theoretical backgrounds) for distance teaching and learning was prepared. For correction and finalization of teaching videos the application OpenShot was used. It allows additionally to edit, save commentary, add figures and texts. All PowerPoint presentations explaining theory of laboratory experiments will be commented in both Slovak and English.

Conclusions
In the previous period, on-line teaching was adopted using above mentioned platforms. The benefits of these software packages were manifested in connection with the need to start a distance form of education. In these conditions, such teaching meets the attributes of modern education, it is effective, interesting, and provides students with many impulses to activate, motivate and raise their level of knowledge.
