Abstract:
The ongoing 4th industrial revolution has had a great impact on the socio-economic context. Technological impacts on education has been a hot topic in recent years, with schools embracing digital transformation as a means to enhance teaching and learning improve student outcomes and to overcome pandemic constraints. However, the shift towards a technology-driven education system also brings with it a number of challenges and considerations. This paper aims to explore the current state of digital transformation in Vietnamese schools, ways in which Vietnamese schools are using technology in their operations as weel as opportunities and challenges faced by the schools.
The paper will also discuss the potential for technology to improve equity and access to education for students from various backgrounds. Finally, the paper will address the issue of public policy development to keep pace with the changes in recent times.
Overall, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of digital transformation in Vietnamese schools, in which more focus is placed on opportunities and challenges faced by the schools. Finally, it offers insights and recommendations for public policies.
