Abstract:
Vietnam is currently implementing a radical and comprehensive renovation in its education system. One of the key tasks of the fundamental and comprehensive reform in education is to renovate the general education curriculum. The new curriculum must meet the requirements of ensuring the radical and comprehensive reform in quality education and career orientation. Teacher training plays a very important and significant role in improving the quality of education at all level to meet the requirements of current education reform. Although the management of school teacher training activities in Vietnam has initially achieved some positive results, it still has some limitations and inadequacies as follows: promoting the propaganda to raise people’s awareness; designing plans, organizational forms, policies, and the assessment of training activities. This paper aims to propose some solutions to increase the effectiveness of training management for school teachers in the near future for meeting the requirements of current education reform.
