Abstract:
As developping country, Vietnam governement focused on education as a development strategy. Overall objectives are presented in this article: by 2020, Vietnam governement will basically and comprehensively renovate national education toward standardization, modernization, socialization, democratization and international integration; will improve education quality comprehensively, including education of morals, life skills, creative ability, practice ability, foreign language and information technology proficiency; will meet the demand for human resources, especially high-quality ones, for national industrialization and modernization and formation of a knowledge-based economy; will assure social equity in education and lifelong learning opportunity for everyone, to step by step form a learning society. There still are many obstacles, but several specific solutions are proposed in this work, with the implementation possibilities.
