Abstract:
In the contemporary knowledge society the care for young people is becoming one of the most important causes for European Development provision of Bulgaria. Therefore, the creation of favorable conditions for university education and non-formal education, as well contributes to the transition from "accredited qualifications to certified skills", improving the demographic situation in the country and it is a significant factor for overcoming the economic crisis. The establishment of an institutional environment that promotes the use of existing knowledge and creation of new one, will contribute to building a society, which is well educated and qualified to create, share and use that knowledge.
State University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (SULSIT), /Sofia, Bulgaria/ has taken the necessary action to build the "knowledge triangle" (education - research - innovation) and has undertaken actively to the implementation of the integrative relationship between research institutes and university information environment.
The purpose of this report is to present the experience and good practices from the activities of the R&D institutes established as an organic part of SULSIT, including the Summer Knowledge Academy, the Institute for Study and Development of Leadership in Information Environment, the Institute for Research in the Area of Organization, Management and Protection of Cultural Heritage and the Institute for Scientific Research and Doctoral Studies (PhD). The three Institutes and the Academy are structural units operating at SULSIT created by Ministerial decrees and in accordance with current legislation in the field of higher education.Keywords:
