Abstract:
Young people belong to the disadvantaged group in the labor market. The significant disadvantage of graduates is the lack of the work experience and work habits. In the contribution is analyzed the recent issue of the dual education in Slovakia, which is an important tool for reducing of the youth unemployment. The primary role of the dual education is mainly to acquire professional competence of the given study field, to teach pupils to navigate oneself in the practical issues, to receive work habits and adequate manual dexterity necessary for carrying out their future profession, all in accordance with the requirements of employers. If the vocational schools want to meet their role, it is necessary to behave as a flexible organization responding on the changing needs of the labor market. Authors describe two perspectives of the dual education in a specific environment of the Slovak education system. First perspective covers the practical problematic of the selected legal aspects of the stakeholder relations and the second perspective describes the role of the marketing activities in promoting the programs of dual education in the Slovak vocational schools.Keywords:
