Abstract:
Article deals with the possibilities of using mobile technologies in teaching mathematics. The publication presents the theoretical background from the field of mobile technologies, pedagogical and psychological scientific disciplines, general didactics and didactics of mathematics. On the basis of comprehensive theoretical knowledge, research was carried out, which is presented in the empirical part of the thesis. The presented research aims to verify the possibilities of using a tablet in the teaching of mathematics. The research is also aimed at determining the degree of influencing the acquired knowledge in pupils of the 6th year of elementary school, depending on the involvement of the tablet in the teaching. During the use of tablets in the classroom, a competition factor was used among pupils, using educational games. The experiment compares the outputs of the experimental group the pupils used to teach the math of the tablet, with the outputs of the control group that learned the subject by classical methods without the use of a tablet. The experiment showed a higher increase in knowledge in the experimental group.
