Abstract:
The paper deals with mobile technologies in education and the attitude of selected countries in Europe to this issue. Research uses official sources and statements from certain countries. Based on these resources, the country's attitude to mobile technologies in education is determined, especially whether they support or do not support this technology in teaching. The level of use and the number of schools using this technology is also being monitored. The paper presents a comparison of selected countries with the Czech Republic in terms of mobile technology integration into education. State support, the level of use of mobile technology in education and the popularity of this technology at school level are compared. Countries are selected from different regions of Europe, especially Central Europe and countries near the Czech Republic. The author also takes the account of the anticipated level of mobile technology use in education and did not choose countries that can be examples of extreme support level - they support a lot or not support them at all. Attention will only be paid to primary schools.
