Abstract:
Starting from our previous studies, the purpose of this article is to present a different perspective related to the evaluation and treatment of young offenders under the incident of a custodial educational measure. Starting from the RNR model (The Risk-need-responsivity model) and analyzing the complex process of assisted resilience, we believe that it is important to reconsider the training programs for the release of young offenders that are focused on strengthening the protective factors from the perspective of the community to which they are going to return. What existing practices can be sustainable or what are the challenges that custodial institutions must respond to, in order to prepare young people who return to the community after the execution of a custodial educational measure?

This part of the study is a qualitative one and is focused on the opinion of professionals who are working with offenders in the custodial facilities, especially in an educative center.

Our goal is to present a possible educational program of social reintegration based on the assisted resilience process.
