Abstract:
Sustainable development is "the ultimate aim of Man-Environment relationship. With regard to extreme importance of educational impact, is the whole learning process should be "revamped for sustainable life". Currently, is the important area in which plays a key role, the need for training and development. It is a problem of dealing with improving skills and key competencies in the context of sustainable living. In the area of training for education life will require specific equipment for new sustainable lifestyle. In education for sustainable life should give focus on aspects of the new educational model. This includes changes in the knowledge, attitudes and behaviours, as well as regulatory frameworks demand towards more sustainable choices of lifestyles. New sustainable lifestyles require integration of good educational practices to one efective model for education for 21st century. The authors presenting the "FIT Model" of education with the aim of developing human potential in this context through innovative teaching methods, as one of ways of holistic education.
