Abstract:
In the contribution, the authors address with development of experiential learning and its implementation in the field of formal and informal education, as one of ways solve the problems of globalization. Currently, it is the new area in which the need for training and development plays a key role. It is the issue of dealing with differences, the world demands of globalization, conflict transformation. The contribution offers taxonomy of experiential resources that can be used for this type of training and education. The authors will present experiential approaches in tolerance education through experiential learning cycle as a methodological suggestions for teachers (games focused on intercultural sensitization, detection of stereotypes and suppression of prejudices, and role-play situations aimed at meeting the different cultures) with the aim of developing human potential in this context through innovative teaching methods. In education for tolerance, we should give focus on aspects of intercultural education, awareness and elimination of prejudice and stereotypical thinking, racism, discrimination, strengthening social justice and religious tolerance.
