Abstract:

In search of a sense of education we come to the questions of human existence, its mission and values which are individual and social structure. New World Charter for Education points to the one of the present learning senses, which consists in "issuing a passport for life". In this sense, the path to understanding the "world as an object of human commitment and as a human existence having a sense like the world of meanings and values." The priority of education in Slovakia is to implement a dimension of value in education, so as to promote the search for meaning of life. The article is focused on the sources of value creation and value interiozation in the process of education in our education. In terms of current knowledge is based on rational concepts with emphasis to socialization aspects and impact of tradition. It also provides an overview of basic approaches to values education and specific methods (instilling, the development of moral assessment, analysis, brightening values, action learning) that allow to build values in learners effectivelly.
