Abstract:
Education a priority in the new millennium in the Slovak Republic is to make the effectiveness and tone up of education in context sustainable development. Heritage Education through the 'Opening Doors" - Learning in the Cultural and Historic Environment is one of the effective tools of education. In terms of teaching emphasizes the focus on the development of affective domain. Heritage Education emphasizes the dynamic nature of creation and preservation of heritage is not only cultural but also social and political dimensions. On the basis of concrete examples of practice the author points out that the concept of Heritage Education should be combined with live and rye reality and as such is difficult seizable and definable. Understanding this situation is understood as an inspiration for the conceptualisation of European heritage and education. The contribution is focused on concrete examples of possible transfer of the reference in the field of cultural heritage education in pre-primary and secondary school education, but also in the process of lifelong learning through the implementation of educational projects.
