Abstract:
The article deals with online education during three semesters in the years from 2020 to 2021 at the Department of Informatics Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia. We will focus on teaching the subject Applied Computer Graphics in summer semester 2019/20 and 2020/21 and on teaching the subject Computer Graphics in summer semester 2019/20. In the summer semester 2019/20 teaching was the most difficult because it was a new situation for all of us and we were not prepared for it at all. The article is focused on the methods of preparation for teaching, materials creation, making materials available to students, the teaching process, communication with the students, participation of the students on education, their activity during education, we examine how students were satisfied with teaching and so on. The teaching of both subjects was completed by a final evaluation which is different for the mentioned subjects. In the case of the Applied Computer Graphics subject, the condition for obtaining the evaluation was the elaboration of the project, and in the case of the Computer Graphics subject, the evaluation consisted of a continuous and a final test. The article describes how both tests were created and how the testing and presentation of final projects took place.
