Abstract:

Openup.education is a platform catering for the modern needs of higher education institutions with special attention to university innovation and student entrepreneurship.

Through connecting students, faculty members, alumni, mentors and external practitioners in a vibrant digital hub tailor-made to the institution, Openup.education inspires and catalyses innovative entrepreneurial collaborations. To streamline the process from idea to product/service, the platform provides digital co-working spaces where interactive learning resources lead emerging projects towards achieving real business success.

In this presentation, a representative of our team of dedicated actors of a university centered entrepreneurship ecosystem (faculty members, educators, mentors, directors of innovation and student entrepreneurs) shares our challenges, experiences and insights that led to the creation of Openup.education, a complex digital platform that aims to bring university centered entrepreneurship ecosystems to life.
