ONLINE LEARNING AS A CHALLENGE FOR ART EDUCATION

Abstract:
The pandemic COVID-19 has caused significant changes in many areas of public life, including education. Due to quarantine restrictions, educational institutions were forced to switch to online learning, which in turn demonstrated certain problems that need to be addressed. In particular, online teaching subjects in art education needs special attention, because its important elements are both individual interaction between teacher and student (for example, for music education) and various forms of group work (choir, ensemble, theater, etc.). Transfer these forms of work to online has raised the question of finding appropriate tools and developing of digital competence for teachers.
The paper is devoted to the experience of implementing online learning in art education institutions, in particular at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. The university provides training in various creative specialties: music, choreography, theater, design and more. Each of the specialties has its own characteristics that must be taken into account when organizing online training. On the other hand, the university needed a single integrated solution for online learning. The approaches and technologies used to ensure the educational process in KNUKiM are analyzed, recommendations for the organization of online learning for creative disciplines and increase the level of digital competence of teachers are identified.
In addition, the experience of teachers of art schools during quarantine is analyzed. The program of advanced training of teachers of creative institutions in the direction of information and communication competence is developed. The development of the program takes into account the features of art education, developed a list of tools for online learning that promote effective online interaction between student and teacher, increase student interest, proposed creative approaches to teaching.Keywords:
