Abstract:
Interesting and spectacular interface involving not only interaction with a computer but also real physical activities and possibility to touch and take a closer look at the subject makes any educational process significantly more effective and even entertaining. The present paper describes the project of creation a board game to be applied as the base for lessons of history of Lublin (Poland). The project includes two parts: low level based on broad network of RFID readers interacting with Arduino and high level GUI based on Android platform. Special focus was made on the aspect of intercommunication between the parts of low-level part and between the low-level and high level parts as many tasks appeared to be quite challenging. The paper may be useful for those who intend to implement their own solutions based on extensive network of sensors interacting with Arduino and other devices of higher level. Keywords:
