Abstract:
The EHEA is an area of educational organization started with the Bologna Declaration to harmonize the various education systems in the European Union, to provide an effective way of sharing among all students, as well as a profound change in the approach to teaching in European universities.
To take on these emerging virtual learning skills, a fundamental tool to adapt to this system. This teaching is defined as a learning space offered by a college that was developed through digital networks and their functions include: planning for learning, communication (forums and chats), resource management and evaluation.
Objectives: - Develop skills and content tailored to the problem based learning .
- Creating a virtual campus of the field of Pediatric Dentistry.
Material and methods: For the realization of this project has relied on the I, II and III Jornadas Campus Virtual UCM and information of Web pages related to problem-based learning and the creation of the Virtual University. The keywords used were: virtual campus, problem-based learning, EHEA and University Virtual . As material we have had adequate systems and the Internet and programs like Microsoft Office Publisher and WebCT.
Discussion and Conclusions: The main advantages of this system are the motivation of students, increased communication between students and teacher-pupil, which is necessary, taking into account the need arises in the immediate future to adapt to new methodologies learning and the EHEA. It is therefore essential to adapt our teaching to the use of the Virtual Campus in the field of Pediatric Dentistry, which represents an obligation and an opportunity for reflection. After the teaching experience, it is important to analyze and reflect on it, improve it where possible. All this contributes to improving the quality of university teaching and is the essence of good teaching practices in the use of the Virtual Campus. Keywords:
