Abstract:
Cooperation and teamwork are key competencies in every profession. Entrepreneurs are not the exception. Entrepreneurship is not the “private party” and every successful entrepreneur should be excellent team worker. According to that, also the entrepreneurship education should focus on development of teamwork skills. Unfortunately teamwork and group work in teaching and learning are often mentioned as synonyms. Using traditional group work exercise without special methodology doesn’t support learners’ teamwork skills. Lack of graduates’ teamwork skill might lead to the failure in entrepreneurship.

The aim of the article is to describe the use of teamwork as study method in entrepreneurship education. Article gives answers to the questions why teamwork is important to apply in the context of entrepreneurship education and which other competencies the teamwork skills are supporting. Second part of the article is dedicated to the methodology and describes possible process of using teamwork in teaching, barriers and success factors of this study method. Article also gives brief overview of teamwork skills assessment methods.
