Abstract:

This study is aiming to present if the present education and training of ICT-Information and Communication Technologies- in Turkish Universities reach their goals or not by comparing users who are in social network platforms. On this regards the study will focus on Facebook platform on the appraisal of the entertaining and the learning environment in Facebook as a support tool. Therefore, one measure to counter the difficulties to transfer ICT learning to daily matter obtains some problems and to see the solving of it could be in web based environment. Information literacy rate among university student is not sufficient enough. Social networks like the Facebook has attracted popular interest which could increase the number of people who are information literate.
