Abstract:
The global world demands new ways and approaches to self-presentation and product promotion. One of the most successful competitive qualities of a modern professional is creativity. The article provided a survey of linguistic creativity development techniques in the process of the English language teaching. The research was aimed at description and analysis of the existing techniques of the linguistic creativity development in the field of the English language proficiency and in the work on "emancipation" of the creative potential of bachelors.
The research materials were textbooks of the English Language for linguistics students. The focus group were two academic groups of bachelors of Surgut State Pedagogical University. The research method was the students’ results and reactions (questionnaires) statistics data analysis and its interpretation; the cognitive study, to identify the most effective strategies to develop language creativity. To generalize, classify and interpret the results observed, the descriptive method was used. Among the general scientific methods there were used the methods of observation of the university lectures aimed at linguistic creativity development and comparison of the language creativity development exercises presented in the textbooks. As a result, the most effective technologies of the linguistic creativity development were revealed. Moreover, the study showed the importance of further investigation in order to explain how these technologies influence on the development of cognitive capability.Keywords:
