Abstract:
A teacher's initial portfolio is a means of adjusting the teacher's personal achievements that are necessary for his or her career. It can be used as evidence of what has been done in class to illustrate a particular teaching philosophy, to provide a structure on which to analyze one's work, or as a "window" when a teacher applies for a new job or promotion. He has recently gained popularity in our education system. More and more teachers are convinced of the benefits of having a personal portfolio, but are having difficulty preparing it. In this document, we have offered a successful model - the Bulgarian platform SmartClassroom.bg for building an online portfolio, through which teachers could further develop their digital skills necessary for successful implementation of blended learning. In the article we have looked at some of the platform options, we are talking about the content of the platform. Your digital learning portfolio should include absolutely all the text documents you can send for any other job application: resume, personal statement and power of attorney. However, the digital portfolio is an opportunity to turn this two-dimensional Word document into a three-dimensional career experience. With a digital portfolio, you can do more than tell them your strengths, you can show them. From key assignments and worksheets, lesson plans, scans and photographs of student work, and video montages of you in the classroom, administrators can get a real sense of how you teach and where you values lie. With each artifact you add to your site, make sure you also upload a thoughtful reflection. Keywords:
