Abstract:
We live in an era of the Anthropocene - in which man is the most important factor in the impact on the planet, and the consequences for biodiversity, ecosystems and climate are obvious. An economy based on eternal growth in consumption of exhaustible resources and on the generation of more waste is unsustainable and does not create prosperity for people.

It is necessary and urgent to truly involve young people in creating entrepreneurial solutions and preparing them to participate in companies, businesses, business incubators and institutions that add value to a high-tech, circular economy of the future. Business and the economy need a radical transformation to ensure a better life for future generations. For this change to occur on the largest scale possible, an eco-friendly and entrepreneurial mindset of each new generation must be developed.

The Green Entrepreneurship theme responds to this need, recognizing that education systems are lagging behind in delivering interactive modern content related to this topic. Through 36 lessons, teachers and students are introduced to a variety of successful and inspiring sustainable business models that create a net positive value for nature and society. Young people can also develop their ideas for eco-friendly business in 7 easy steps that take them on a journey into the world of entrepreneurial discovery and business modeling. This article reviews the philosophy, approach and outputs of the Green Cross-Border Project, which make it possible to change the paradigm of entrepreneurship and innovate in blended learning.
