Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic crisis has brought major changes in all areas of social life, for example: entrepreneurship, business, agriculture, health, education, including higher education etc. Universities have had to adapt quickly to a new way of doing school - from face-to-face courses, using e-learning platforms only for support activities to learning online exclusively through these platforms.

This paper has two objectives:
1. to explore in a non-exhaustive manner aspects regarding the use of e-learning platforms in the educational act: the platforms types, the platforms advantages, the platforms disadvantages etc and
2: to present a case study at POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest regarding a national project through which, among others, 420 students are prepared in the entrepreneurship domain. Other activities of the UPB project refer to, for example: the improvement of professional skills for 75 teachers; the development of 3 innovative educational offers related to the labour market.

This project (which is in the implementation period) is briefly presented, but the online learning through the Moodle and Microsoft Teams platforms used for this project is analysed and some remarks through the authors experience are pointed. Some lessons learned and recommendations for educational act exclusively online through these platforms are highlighted.
