Abstract:
Music can play the significant role of the very effective stimulus concerning the investigation of the complicated individual scale and the reactions of the emotions of the individual, their conscious and subconscious reflections. It facilitates approaching the subconscious and activating blocked psycho pathologic situations, which find the exit through phenomena of purgation. In addition, it plays the role of a very effectual stimulus for the awakening and activating of creative forces which exist in each person and can favour efforts of re arrangement such as to waken up the creative potential, vibrate positive energy, the constructive elements of personality, the sentiments, the imagination, the creative intelligence of the person. A cross – curricular case-study was implemented regarding the degree to which music is likely to assist the emotional intelligence of children with disabilities. The experiment took place in a Special Laboratory of Professional Education and Formation in the school year of 2011- 2012 involving a group of students with mental and psychological problems. Finally, we, as specialists, realized that we discovered more about ourselves, a realization which assisted us in more efficiently communicate with our learners not only as individuals but also as a group and be able to handle future sessions with even more interest.
