THE EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPING AND REALISATION OF THE BUSINESS GAME AS A FORM OF INTEGRATIVE LEARNING IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN AREAS OF «PHILOLOGY» AND «JOURNALISM»

Abstract:
The modern market of educational services is focused on training of professional specialist, who capable to competently solve professional problems in rapidly changing working conditions. Тhis training is impossible without widespread use of active (activity) forms of education. Exactly this active form of training can create a system of professional practical skills, with respect to which the educational information can be a tool and allows to solve professional problems more qualitatively.
Business game as a form of learning in higher education as much as possible solves certain complex problems. Firstly, this form provides a holistic experience of the future professional activity. Secondly, business game systematizes of existing knowledge and skills of students. In the third, it's provides an experience of social relations and the formation of professional creative thinking.
Sphere of business training games in the context of higher education in Russia is quite broad. However, nowadays in the Russian high school there isn't the practice of gaming in the preparation of students of directions «Philology» and «Journalism». This situation puts graduates in the humanities on a losing position in the labor market of young professionals.
The unique solution of this problem is the educational project «Sharks of PeRa», which developed and successfully tested by teachers and students of the Faculty of Journalism of the South Ural State University (SUSU) (Russia, Chelyabinsk). The specific of this game is in integrative use of student's knowledge and skills, which they obtained during the development of the various courses of the philological cycle, also from other areas of science.
The prototype of the simulated reality in this business game is editorial publication. Participants perform a professional role model of members of the drafting group. The conflict situation of a business game involves the creation by participants the original maquette of one of the newspaper column on a given topic in a force majeure (during acute shortage of time and taking into account the specific audience).
During the testing of this educational project the game is evolved, enriched, expanded largely due to the active participation in the organization and carrying out of new games of the senior students, who once participated themselves in this game.
An important feature of the «Sharks of PeRa» is the tradition of engaging potential enrollee of the university – school graduates humanities. This fact not only increases the competitive motivation of participants, but it's implements vocational guidance and promotional objectives of the university.
Testing of this developed business game received a wide resonance in the SUSU and in secondary schools in the humanities. The final results of the survey showed that 78% of respondents agreed with the ability of influence the game on the determine of professional future. The demand in regular conduct of business games for students was recognized unanimously.
A perspective direction in development of the business game «Sharks of PeRa» is the introduction of international educational project component. Thus, the participants of the new game maybe foreign students, who studying on the program of the included instruction in the direction «Philology» of the SUSU.Keywords:
