Abstract:
In this paper, we want to explain how the virtual classrooms can be used to manage easily the assessment of our students. Concretely, we expound the usefulness of virtual classrooms for tutoring our students by following their work and evolution during the course. Moreover, communications tools in virtual classrooms are not the only resources to perform the tutorship, but we can also use the discussion forums and the activity tools in order to plan and manage our students’ work and carry on the corresponding feedback on the tasks asked by the teaching staff. As conclusion, we want to expound how our experience with virtual classrooms in degrees of both Engineering and Business Administration has been very positive from both students and teachers’ viewpoint with respect to the performance of the assessment, obtaining remarkable results in the grades obtained by those students using this tool to carry out with the course.
