Abstract:
The article points aspects regarding the development and the implementation of a methodology for students counseling and career orientation, in order to facilitate the transition from school to an active life, by gaining working competences and improving the student’s insertion in the labor market development. The proposed and implemented methodology includes the stages of activities, the ways of organizing the counseling and career orientation sessions, the types of sessions and activities, the supportive documentation and procedures, the human resource and the way of working. The study proposes some techniques to promote these activities among students, and, also, some evaluating methods for counseling and career orientation beneficiaries. The case study is focused on a pillar of a project financed in 2014-2015 by European funds (Sectoral Operational Program for Human Resources Development); it presents innovative elements, results and conclusions regarding best practices for a better counseling and career orientation activities for the students.
