Abstract:
With the third wave of the pandemic receding, there is an effort to return to face-to-face teaching. At the Technical University in Košice, face-to-face teaching of selected subjects began in mid-March 2022. The article discusses the change in teaching methodology following the release of Covid's measures. It is currently moving from online teaching to a hybrid form of teaching. The research analyses and evaluates students' views on the established methodology of hybrid teaching of technical subjects at the engineering and bachelor's degree. The analysed subjects included: Construction Automation and Planning, Construction Technology Design, Bachelor's Thesis and Preparation and Management of Construction Projects. The research focuses on teaching methods, adapted curriculum content, the form of assigned tasks and the educational tools used. In conclusion, the article points to the necessary development of students' creative abilities and critical thinking on technical subjects during hybrid teaching. It is also expected that the form of hybrid teaching will become a sustainable method of teaching technical subjects at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Technical University in Košice.
