Abstract:
The article presents the results of a study on the relevance of creating individual learning paths considering the needs, motivation, interests, personal characteristics and behavior patterns of the student. The role of the teacher-coordinator and designer of personalized learning is considered, in which learning is organized and adapted to the student’s personal characteristics or weaknesses, talents, academic problems and illnesses.
The purpose of the article is to present the relationship between typical students (personality, motivation, academic performance) and their behavior patterns in social networks necessary to create personalized learning.
For students, AIEd opens up new possibilities for online learning, increasing engagement and improving learning outcomes. For teachers, AIEd helps record academic achievements, develop personalized learning materials, provide reviews, and analyze data. Artificial intelligence technologies make it possible to analyze the psychological characteristics of students, selecting an algorithm for analyzing initial data, and identifying stress, anxiety and depression.
Materials and methods. To conduct the experiment, a research sample of 200 first and second year students of Abay University was selected. 115 girls and 85 boys. Students gave consent for their personal data to be processed. During the educational experiment, educational digital tools based on artificial intelligence such as Altitude Learning, Gradescope, and Knewton’s Alta were considered.
In an online survey on the Zoom platform, a survey was conducted with students on the following topic: The capabilities of AI technologies in implementing the principles of personalized learning. Psychodiagnostic techniques were used to identify the level of motivation, communication abilities and skills of V.V. Boyko, social empathy and types of reflection of D.A. Leontyev. Openness to knowledge and experience were determined using the Big Five methodology.
The obtained results led to the conclusion that personalized learning systems and approaches motivate students to learn and improve their performance. The introduction of artificial intelligence technologies makes it possible to increase the efficiency and quality of education focused on the needs and demands of students. The use of social networks and chatbots in education allows teachers to make learning more effective, available 24/7, increase student engagement and save time. The results obtained from experiments demonstrate the benefits of using AI technologies and allow teachers to develop personalized educational learning paths. The students who took part in the experiment welcomed the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process. The results of the study showed increased involvement and interest in learning, adapted educational content to personal needs, and stimulated cognitive activity. AI technologies provide the opportunity to explore psychological aspects in a virtual context, provide reflection and improve the communication effect. The educational paradigm proposed in our research reflects the growing role of AI in digital personalized education.
