Abstract:
The inclusion of parents on the education process of their children is widely accepted as an influencing factor on the improvement of students’ results and their behavior at school. The level of this inclusion is not equal for all the parents. It is influenced by different factors.
The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of socioeconomic status on the level of Albanian parents on the engagement level on the education of their children and the school life. In this research there are included the findings of a questionnaire done with 300 parents belonging to different socioeconomic levels. The data speaks about a relationship and influence between the socioeconomic status and the level of engagement of parents in the education process of their children. Knowing this relation the school should build up programs and suitable behaviors in order to create possibilities to parents to engage in the education process of their children.Keywords:
