Abstract:
At present, the issue of cultural heritage protection is very topical and modern technologies are very helpful in these efforts. In our paper we will focus on the creation of 3D models of sacral objects by photogrammetric methods. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are currently being used in several areas of the economy, film, business and everyday life and are therefore ideal for obtaining photo shots of sacral buildings in order to create 3D models. The current development of flight planning systems makes it possible to maintain an optimal flight geometry and thus eliminate the gain of images with little or no overlap. The created 3D model not only reliably reflects the real appearance of the object, but is also its metric reflection. This means that we can accurately place it in a global or local coordinate system and get all its dimensions. These procedures can be well implemented in the teaching of informatics, which not only can increase students' interest in informatics, but this subject can become more interesting for students. These procedures are well applicable in primary schools, but especially in secondary schools. In our paper, we will focus on the implementation of modeling procedures in computer science lessons (as the whole procedure cannot be realized within one lesson) with regard to the interrelationships of subjects, especially mathematics, physics and history. From the rich experience with the creation of models of sacral buildings, we will design the optimal way of creating models suitable for educational purposes, taking into account the number of images, the quality of the model and the time of creation. We will also describe the advantages and pitfalls associated with creating models. In the end, we will evaluate our proposal and describe the experience gained. At present, it is probably difficult for us to exclude elements of ICT from the educational process and everyday life, and that would not be right at all. In addition, they also allow their use in the field of cultural heritage protection. Keywords:
