Abstract:
The 2020 COVID-19 outbreak sparked a revolution in distance learning, while supporting IT innovation. With the continuous development and progress of IT technology, various mobile terminal devices such as smart phones, tablet computers, and electronic readers have been widely integrated into people's life and work, and network information technology has also become an important part of people's life and work Essential tool.

In the context of the rapid development of network information technology, in order to cultivate the ability of college students to acquire knowledge independently, smart phones can be used as the preferred tool for students' mobile learning due to their easy portability and small size. However, the rich and interesting data of the software in the smartphone is constantly input to the user, including false and dross information, and these harmful information not only can not expand the students' vision, but will invade the students' ideological field, making the lack of self-control Ability students run the risk of relying on cell phones.

The article takes the English teaching classroom of non-English majors as an example. The main purposes are:
- Research on the feasibility and teaching advantages of mobile phone teaching software in foreign language teaching.
- Taking classroom teaching practice as the carrier, a teaching method based on smart phones and task-driven mode is proposed.
- Drive students to learn independently through self-learning tasks, and use smart phones to organically combine mobile learning with classroom teaching to achieve high-efficiency learning effects

The results show that the smart phone mobile learning mode can effectively promote the learner's mastery and application of knowledge and improve their self-efficacy under the drive of learning tasks, so it is suitable for auxiliary teaching in the field of foreign language education.
