Abstract:
Social and political text includes the following functions: communicative function, inducement function, criterion function and appealing function. According to this fact, there is a need to analyse pragmatic aspect of this type of texts. In our research pragmatic aspect is a complex of intralinguistic and interlinguistic peculiarities that influence the communicative act forming and the choice of language units.

Therefore, the author of the target text should pay a special attention to the following text parameters: self-descriptiveness, communicative and pragmatic aspects and the style of the source text.

Analysing translation of social and political texts it is necessary to mention that pragmatic aspect plays an important role in the translation process. For example, many famous translatologists focus their attention on the fact that the translator has to take into consideration not only denotative and connotative but also pragmatic components. Pragmatic component is defined by the interrelation between language expression and addressees of communication. These factors reflect correspondence of interlinguistic reaction on information of the source text and target text addressees.

Analysing opinions of outstanding linguists the most important pragmatic aim means taking into consideration the difference in interpretation of one and the same text by representatives of various cultures, participants of different communicative situations. According to this fact the author observes the difference in background knowledge, concepts, interpretation and behavioral norms of addressees. The most important pragmatic problem is the necessity to overcome the differences in pragmatic aspects of the source and target texts.
The author elaborated a diagram that gives us an opportunity to define the most important trends of the research. Analysing this phenomenon it is necessary to pay a special attention to language units and techniques, aim, stylistic peculiarities of social and political texts. These criteria form text pragmatics in general. Authors of social and political texts, having their social status, include their subjective judgments, evaluation, and opinions, which could form a text pragmatics in the newspaper article.

This work is devoted to pragmatic aspects of translation process considering that translation of social and political texts is the key point of the research. Pragmatic aspects define translation of realias, objects or events which have a direct connection with the history, culture, national customs and traditions. In this case the translator has to pay a special attention to the words with no direct equivalents in other languages. For example, it can be lexical units that reflect specific realias of a definite country. Transliteration, transcription, loan translation, explicatory translation, translation comments are used for the translation of realias. Finally, analysing pragmatic aspects of social and political texts the author concludes that this issue is of a special interest for the contemporary research. It is necessary to point out that the most important function of social and political texts is appealing. According to this fact, the author of the source and target texts could use special language units in order to influence addressee’s opinion and give rise to his/her corresponding response.
