Abstract:
In today's complex and volatile society, characterised by uncertainty in the configuration of life plans and socio-economic and professional development, guidance resources are needed to guarantee optimal career management, allowing the individual to take charge of their own professional and life project in a conscious, realistic and autonomous manner. Based on a comprehensive model of career development guidance (CPC Model, Constructing my Career), this paper presents a virtualised and personalised guidance scenario, which allows for the promotion of meaningful learning and awareness of one's own career decisions, establishing support networks that foster new professional and employment opportunities. This work is a product of the R&D&I project that promotes career self-management in contexts of socio-occupational change: dynamisation, guidance and support networks in integrated virtual environments (Boost Career).
