Abstract:
Today, modern technologies are widely used in museums, and the offer is also expanded by museum pedagogy classes, in which visitors, regardless of age and social background, are introduced to a wide range of topics. The programs are constantly being improved to make them binding.
The museum is a research and educational institution accessible to the public, the task of which is to collect, preserve, research, and popularize the values of natural, spiritual, and material culture in the society, to promote their use for the education and development of the society. Museum pedagogy is a branch of pedagogical science, on the basis of which scientific and practical activities are organized, which are oriented towards the transfer of cultural experience in the conditions of the museum environment.
The aim of the article is to study the theoretical aspects of museum pedagogy, to determine the criteria for the creation of a modern educational exposition, in accordance with the competence approach in education.
Research methods: theoretical - literature analysis, the empirical - expert interviews.
Research on scientific articles suggests that museums and technology, despite the digital age, are not sufficiently understood and open. Each exhibition has its own graphic design and technological solutions that not only make scientific information more visible and understandable to visitors but also arouse interest and create a desire to return to the museum again.
The results of the survey confirm the importance of museum pedagogical activities, emphasizing the general goals of the museum visit - to enrich the visitor's knowledge, stimulate analytical and interpretive thinking, develop visitor communication and reflection skills, inspire visitors, enable visitors to be in an unusual environment, encourage visitors. Thus, the design of a museum's exposition should be consistent with the subject's content and the development of soft skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving, creativity, self-directed learning, collaboration, civic participation, and digital literacy. Keywords:
