Abstract:
The article deals with the quality of life of the group of university students in 2013–2014 with respect to the proportion of light and heavy physical activity, as well as light and heavy mental activity. The subjective dimension and the personal level of the quality of life area are also covered in this article. The data analysis revealed that in the category of heavy physical activity such as regular exercise and sport, students demonstrate the compliance with the minimum healthy daily standards according to professional criteria. On the average men are engaged more in heavy physical activities than women. In the category of heavy mental activity the top three positions are supposedly occupied by studies, education and information retrieval. In the category of light mental activity the order of the top five positions is the same in both gender groups. Besides the dedication to social relations, watching TV, listening to music and reading, the time spent on social network Facebook is currently getting in the third position. At the same time, the application for processing a diary was prepared and subsequently a statistical data analysis is carried out.
