Abstract:

In digital educational environments, learner profiling is a fundamental strategy for implementing personalized learning. A learner profile provides not only information about academic performance, but also offers a comprehensive view of personality, potential, abilities, interests, and areas that require support. This profile helps educators, learners, and families work together to improve the effectiveness of education. The article examines the main sources for building learning profiles: electronic portfolios, data from learning platforms, test results, and self-assessments and surveys. Specialized methods and technologies for analyzing educational data are discussed, including educational data mining, learning analytics, and artificial intelligence. The article emphasizes the importance of learner profiling in the development and implementation of products and services based on innovative models, forms, and methods of instruction aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of school education in Bulgaria.
