Abstract:
It is a well-known fact that the image of an institution is at the core of its public evaluation and reflects the effectiveness of its activities. The successful operation of the organization is largely determined by the perception of the organization by the public. It is for this reason that for more than twenty years the modern change and vision of higher education in the knowledge economy are based on innovative learning in a university information environment, and an important factor when determining them is the image of the institution.

The synergy between traditional training and innovative approaches has become one of the main lines in building the positive image of University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT) as a leading educational and scientific institution.

The report presents the results of the use of alternative university educational models based on the "Learning by Doing" method which have been tested in the practice of the ULSIT over the past 10 years and based on them, better training of young people and a better image of the institution have been achieved.

A good example of this is the International Southeast Summer University, organized by the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT) in its role of a modern university alternative educational model, creating different opportunities for young people to organize their scientific and educational activities in accordance with university syllabus, as well as with their personal interests.

By revealing a close and stronger link between research and teaching in today's university information environment, young people have equal opportunities to access information and knowledge. The results of field research confirm the effectiveness of applying and using alternative educational models that have led to the formation and implementation of the new educational paradigm and are evidence of improving the knowledge, qualities and skills of young people. From this point of view, new approaches in research are a modern way of training students and doctoral students in various fields of science and practice.
